Web Updates — The Emperor Has No Clothes

Category and Tag Taxonomy

I am currently fixing an “Emperor Has No Clothes” situation. My website category and tag structure was not up to the standards I would set for work I produce for my own clients or employer. I am also correcting the display of some posts in archive pages. This is all to get ready for a theme update, coming soon!

I am about halfway through the process so, if you are temporarily unable to find the content you want, try again in a bit. As always, if you have a question or an upcoming project, please contact me.

A New Site is in the Works

Working in the WordPress block editor.

Just as in the story where the cobbler’s children have no shoes, this designer’s site has been neglected. But, change is coming. The WordPress version has been updated to the most recent release, and plugins have been updated as well.

These changes will allow me to to create a new theme, using the block editor. Be patient! I am doing this in my “spare” time. So, if you see inconsistencies as I update areas of the site incrementally, I hope you see it as a sign of progress. To its credit, the existing theme has stood the test of time without issues, but it is time to move forward.
